For over 30 years, the Catholic Institute of Rennes has been training students in Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, state diplomas. Deliberately small numbers and personalized supervision explain the high success rate: over 85%. Our slogan: “Find excellence in everyone”! We offer Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees (state diplomas).

For Bachelor’s degrees, we have several courses, most of which include different paths. The law degree remains general, but the possibility of following an English-speaking path has been set up; the history degree has three paths: art history, geography, political science; two paths in literature: communication (double degree) and educational science/humanities; three paths in English: translation-interpreting/teaching, law and international trade (double degree), law and international relations (double degree). Finally, three paths in Economic and Social Administration: management of organizations, administration and territorial civil service, human resources management. These courses demonstrate our desire for multidisciplinarity and immersion in more professional subjects, supported by internships. As for the master’s degree, the ICR offers training in “health law and management” in agreement with the CNAM, opening directly onto the world of work in the management of health establishments. CAMPUS: The ICR is located in a recent and functional building, on an airy and welcoming campus, south of Rennes.

The campus is very well served by public transport (bus lines, train to Rennes in 7 minutes) and sports facilities, student residences, university restaurant allow a serene student life. STUDENT LIFE: The ICR offers multiple opportunities to its students to get involved in an associative life by participating in numerous projects.

Many associations have emerged since the creation of the ICR: BDE (animation), BDA (Art and culture), BDS (Sport), Projet Cicéron (Eloquence, negotiation and pleading), 4L Trophy (car rally), ICROIRE (humanitarian), IC’VERT (ecology), Chaplaincy, Student Representatives, Café Actu (conferences/debates), Alumni ICR (alumni networks), WINE NOT (oenology)… The opportunity for students to flourish, to acquire extra-university skills (project management, budget, teamwork, etc.) but also to add a line to their CV!
